ReFile
Describe it. Drop it. Done.
Most people don't want a tool; they want an outcome. ReFile is the bridge between a sentence and a shell command. You describe what you need to a file — compress, transcribe, redact, merge, watermark, extract — and ReFile picks the right CLI, runs it in a sandbox, and gives you the file plus the exact command it used. No subscriptions, no upload limits, no black box.
/ What we built
The shape of it.
- 01
Natural-language ↔ shell. Llama 3.1 70B on Groq translates intent to ffmpeg, ImageMagick, qpdf, Pandoc, Poppler — whatever fits the job.
- 02
Voice in eleven Indian languages. Whisper transcribes Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Urdu, and English.
- 03
Sandboxed execution. Modal spins up ephemeral containers per job; nothing persists between runs.
- 04
Receipts, not magic. Every result ships with the exact command — copy it, audit it, re-run it.
- 05
Visual workflows. Chain presets together on a canvas. Build deterministic, repeatable file pipelines.
